     Assisting Craft Lodges in performing
     Masonic Funeral Ritual Services

ABOUT THE  GRAND GUARD of the WIDOWS SONS
Revised Feb 26, 2020

OUR FIRST AND FOREMOST PURPOSE...MASONIC FUNERAL RITUAL SERVICES
The Grand Guard of the Widows Sons was founded  to assist the local lodges in putting on Masonic Funeral Services.  The  Grand Guard of the Widows Sons members will meet and practice under the supervision of those who are presently holding Masonic Funeral Services in their jurisdiction. The goal is to perfect the Funeral Service Ritual and make it a very impressive service for the families of our departed brethren.  We do not want the funeral service to sound like it is being recited from a book or just memorized. We plan to make it a great presentation.

The  Grand Guard of the Widows Sons will consist of Funeral Ritual Groups from the Widows Sons  who attend the District's funeral ritual instruction meetings from all of the Masonic Districts of that jurisdiction.  The Grand Guard of the Widows Sons will assist in putting on Masonic Funeral Services under the direct supervision of those holding the services in that district.

When the Funeral Ritual groups are operating and performing funeral ritual under the direct supervision of those holding funeral services in their district, our first purpose of the
Grand Guard of the Widows Sons will be fulfilled. In continuance of this first purpose, the Grand Guard of the Widows Sons Funeral Ritual Groups will continue to recruit Masons to join their funeral ritual groups from all districts of  their jurisdictions  to assist those holding funeral services in their districts perform impressive Funeral Ritual Services.
